Little Walkers Trysull Road Nursery
At Little Walkers at Trysull Road Finchfield, our children are our number one priority and all rooms are specially designed to reflect this. The rooms are spacious, airy and maximise the use of natural light.
Each room is well resourced and the layout will reflect the needs and ages of the children who use it. This enables children to learn and develop at their own pace and encourages independence.
Our Nursery Rooms
Baby Room
A designated room for babies to explore through tummy time, crawling, reaching, and building confidence in a warm, naturing environment. Sensory and creative opportunities are available throughout the day. A designated sleeping area, nappy changing facilities and a kitchen area are in all baby rooms, to meet all needs efficiently around individual routines.
Tweenie Room
Our Tweenie rooms allow those rising 2s to roam and make choices in their play. Resourced with toys and equipment to help them thrive physically, mentally, and developmentally. Designated areas for creativity, sensory play and physical activity to build on gross and fine motor skills. Each Tweenie room is equipped with nappy changing facilities.
Toddler Room
Our Toddler rooms have dedicated staff to enhance inquisitive toddlers’ knowledge about the world around them. These schemers have full access to toys and equipment to extend their thinking and creativity. Allowing them to explore their likes and preferences while building key language skills to communicate with the people around them.
Preschool Room
Our Pre-School staff are here to support children individually. Identifying their interest and needs to help prepare each child for school. Our literary rich environments allow children to make choices, build on existing knowledge and help reach those early learning goals. Children will participate in key group times, learn to meet their own needs, and build friendships along the way.
